I'm currently reading -
which is certainly rather different!!! I think Ms Morton might have been sniffing a bit too much catnip but once you've followed her down the rabbit-hole and let go of any pre-conceived notions it's quite entertaining :)
I'm hoping that I'll have finished it before I go away so this is where I thought I could ask around and come up with four good holiday books that are NOT too weighty that I could try to take with me in my suitcase so any comments below with a good book are most welcome :) Tell me what you're reading at the moment?
I read "A Man Called Ove" earlier this year and thought it was wonderful. Also Paris Letters by Janice McLeod - both small and light books. I'm ploughing my way through books that have been lying unread on my shelf for years - refusing to buy anymore til I've got rid of these - I wonder how long that resolve will last lol I'll have to wear blinkers going past Waterstones! ReplyDeleteThank you for your suggestions - have certainly heard of "A Man Called Ove". I admire your resolution but I couldn't possibly stop myself from buying books even though I know in my heart I won't read all those on my shelves!!
