Identical Confusion!

Joining in with Sara's

Identical Confusion

"Now are you Steven or are you Paul?"
The supply teacher's strained voice says it all.
The twins smile back and point to each other,
"He's Paul, Miss and I'm his brother!"

Also posting this on Victoria's linky as well
if you'd like to look at what others have written this week too :)

Are you a twin?  Have you had identical twins in your class almost impossible to tell apart?  Any thought on my ditty?  You know I'd love to know so drop me a comment below :)

  1. Love this! I was at primary school with identical twins but once I got to know them I could easily tell them apart - it was always tricky for supply teachers though!

    1. Yes it's knowing those tiny details that helps!

  2. Brilliant! We have twins in the family, and when they were little I couldn't tell the difference unless they were standing next to each other :) Thank you so much for joining in with #ThePrompt x

    1. I don't think I know any grown-up twins - it is just children!

  4. I love your rhyme. I'm sure teachers love it when kids pull that stuff. Not.

  5. This is brilliantly done! I love it :) I have to say that Grace used to go to school with identical twins - I never knew which was which, but Grace always did! Thanks for linking to Prose for Thought x

    1. In my experience, children are very quick at telling identical twins apart - it's us adults who struggle!
