Yes - I am actually posting on the correct day and linking up to the above thanks to Lexa Cain our blog host - YEE HA!! Click on the button above to go to the blog hop if you'd like to join in :)
This week I am celebrating:
- Some warmer, sunnier weather - SO VERY welcome after our abysmal August
- Being able to visit my mum on her actual birthday - haven't been there to give her a card and pressie since leaving home - so a good few years now!
- Spending a really nice day in the sunshine with my DD before she leaves next week to start university
In the spirit of Lexa, who has posted a series of funny photos about what she thinks she looks like and what she actually looks like in a number of scenarios - here is my take on
What I THINK I look like after I've washed my hair
and what I ACTUALLY look like!
Hopefully this does not apply to you!
Let me know what you are celebrating this weekend or have been celebrating this week - I'd love to know :)
Oh that is totally me in terms of hair. :D A little bit of sunshine... 5 minutes of sunshine and 15 minutes of clouds. The weather is all over as usual. Have a lovely weekend. :DReplyDelete
Thanks, Aura - hopefully you'll get some sunnier days too as we turn into autumn :)Delete
Lol! That hairstyle looks awfully familiar! So glad you've had the chance to spend some time with family. Enjoy!ReplyDelete
Thank you and I'm glad I'm not the only one with bad hair days!Delete
I am always surprised when I look in the mirror and see what my hair actually looks like. Very different from what I imagine.ReplyDelete
You can imagine how bad it can get when I haven't had time to even look in the mirror before I leave the house - oh whoops!! Have a great weekend, Patricia :)Delete
I've enjoyed the sun too!! My hair is a fright at the best of times, but I look st photos of me as a term and my hair was sooo shiny!!!xReplyDelete
As a teen not a term!ReplyDelete
Ah now I understand and yes the hair of youth and yet they are always styling and dying it and don't appreciate what they have!!Delete
Your last pic totally applies to me. No matter how much conditioner I put on it, my hair continues to be more dry and difficult with every year that passes. Ad it used to be straight, and now it has weird frizzy waves in it. What's up with that?! Have a great weekend and thanks for posting for Celebrate! :)ReplyDelete
I really liked your meme this week, Lexa - thanks so much for hosting Celebrate for us all :)Delete
Congratulations on getting your blog post up on the right day and everything. :-)ReplyDelete
I can relate to the pictures you posted. Except my hair is quite short now so it seems to stick up even more than when it was long. And heaven help me if I go to bed with slightly damp hair, it takes on a whole new life of its own then!
Thanks, Click and yes damp hair at night turns into its own nightmare!!Delete
I think those pictures definitely apply to me, sadly!ReplyDelete
I can't quite believe that Stephanie! Your hair looks lovely in your photo!!Delete
